Taking tropes from the murder mystery, police procedural, thriller, and horror genres, the novel is a pageturner that makes the streets of Toronto the setting of Indigenous life and stories, both traditional and contemporary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Drew Hayden Taylor:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Originally from the Curve Lake First Nations, in Central Ontario, Drew has spent the last two decades travelling the world and writing about it from the Aboriginal perspective.
