Drew Hayden Taylor will read from his latest novel Cold at the University of Potsdam. Taking tropes from the murder mystery, police procedural, thriller, and horror genres, the novel is a pageturner that makes the streets of Toronto the setting of Indigenous life and stories, both traditional and contemporary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Originally from the Curve Lake First Nations, in Central Ontario, Drew has spent the last two decades travelling the world and writing about it from the Aboriginal perspective. An award-winning playwright, author, columnist, film maker and lecturer, he has managed to bridge the gap between cultures by tickling the funny bone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
